Hi my sweet boy. You are growing so quickly. You are such a happy baby , its hard to imagine you were colicky a couple months ago. You smile at everything and everyone. Your little squeels with delight and excitement excite me! I love waking up in the morning seeing your little face just staring at me waiting for me to open my eyes and when I do you smile so big and let out a big squeel. You starting making the sound Ba today. You kept saying it over and over and you looked like you were concentrating so hard. Two days ago I gave you your first taste of baby rice cereal. The past couple weeks you have been reaching for my food and getting all wiggly when I hold you and I am eating like you want to eat. I tried to hold off as long as I could but you are just so interested in food. So I decided to give it a try. You did so good! The first taste you made a weird face but by bite 3 you realized you needed to open your mouth. The other children were around watching and each gave you a bite. They were all so excited for you. As you lay here in my arms asleep I am so thankful for you. You are truly a blessing from God and I love you so very much.

4 month check up

Well yesterday was your 4 month check up. You weigh 17 lbs 3 oz and are 25 inches long. The doctor said you looked very healthy. He was very happy to hear I was still breastfeeding. He seemed almost shocked. He kept telling me great job! When he went to open up your diaper he noticed it was not a disposable and said Whats this? Does he have hip displaysia? I explained it was a cloth diaper and he was very intrigued and said he had never seen such a thing and it was such a great idea. He joked with you about how fat you are and asked you if you had a neck because it doesnt appear that you do lol. You got 3 shots and I was in tears having to hold your little hands while she did it. I hated having to have you stare at me while you were being caused pain. As soon as I picked you up you began to calm and as soon as I began to nurse you you seemed content. After that you slept a lot. You've been very whiny today and have had a slight fever. Hopefully it will pass quickly and you will be back to your normally giggly self :) I love you so much Joshy!

New blog!

Ive created this blog so that I can make notes about Joshua's milestones and how much he is loved. In the past Ive kept little journals in notebooks for them, or baby calendars and they all have baby books. But I find it very difficult the more children I have to keep up with it all. I decided that in order for me to keep some sort of journal for Joshua it was best on the computer. Im more likely to Blog it.. then write in a journal. So I can go ahead and blog my thoughts and my love letters to him like I normally would and I can just print them out every so often and put them in a notebook. Way easier for me. I debated whether to share this blog or not as some of my notes will be personal and written directly to Joshua but I decided why not.. so its here for you all to read and comment if you like :)
